HAProxy

HAProxy is a fast, reliable, and free reverse-proxy used for high traffic web sites. It provides high availability, load balancing, and proxying for TCP and HTTP-based applications. As a de-facto standard open-source load balancer, HAProxy is widely deployed and often included in mainstream Linux distributions and cloud platforms. The HAProxy core team maintains multiple versions, with two major versions released annually.
